I went and greeted her at the airport with her family and then they were really nice and invited me to Cafe Rio with them. It was so much fun to see her and I am so excited that she is back. Since she's been back we've played basketball, gone on a bike ride and of course....
we've eaten lots of tomatoes out of my mom's garden! For those who know us, we LOVE tomatoes. I'm pretty sure we ate about 6 big tomatoes and probably around 25 cherry tomatoes. Just in that one sitting. It was fantastic! I'm so excited for all the rest of the fun things we will be doing!
Sunday night we ate at Jesse's parents house and Alta (Hales) made us a DELICIOUS meal! It was seriously so good! And Jesse and I "made" pies. One razzleberry one chocolate satin. They MIGHT have actually been bought from Marie Calendar's, but transferred into our glass pie tins. The kids LOVE Jesse and are always asking him to play. I'm not sure what they were playing here, but apparently it was dangerous for Jesse's eyes and he needed to wear some protection for them...
Last night I made some Chicken Tika Masala (A delicious Indain Dish)
It was really good. Jesse liked it so much he went back for 3rds (the bottom picture) and was really sad when I told him he had to save the rest for lunch today.
Well that is about it. I got a phone with a camera finally, so YAY for pictures. I also found an editing app so I am experimenting with that. So that is why they all look different. We are also really excited for Family to come in town this weekend and all the birthday's this week! Jesse is also very excited for Christmas and has started to write his letter to Santa (I'm not kidding, it starts out Dear Santa:) So we will be mailing that off to the North Pole soon! And although Jesse has skipped right to Christmas already. I am still eagerly awaiting Halloween and Thanksgiving!
Yay for your iphone! I am glad to see you and Lizzy reunited... Also I think it is hilarious that you actually moved the pies to your pie dishes.
